The invention discloses a hard-shell windshield wiper. The windshield wiper comprises a windshield wiper rubber strip; two memory steel sheets which are inserted into the two sides of the windshield wiper rubber strip respectively, and the windshield wiper rubber strip is clamped between the two memory steel sheets; a guide plate, wherein the two memory steel sheets are inserted into the guide plate; a windshield wiper arm connector which is mounted in the middle of the flow guide plate; and a plurality of notch grooves which are formed in the upper portion or the lower portion of the flow guide plate at equal intervals in the length direction of the flow guide plate. The guide plate is provided with the notch groove, the flexibility of the guide plate is greatly improved, and the guide plate can be naturally bent and sleeved on the memory steel sheet in a manner of being matched with the memory steel sheet, so that the tensile force of the guide plate on the memory steel sheet in the direction opposite to the windshield is greatly reduced, and the elastic failure acceleration of the memory steel sheet caused by the tensile force is avoided; therefore, the service life of the windshield wiper is prolonged.
