The invention relates to an electric vehicle, a charging control circuit and a method thereof, and a battery management system. The charging control circuit of the electric vehicle comprises a whole vehicle controller, a direct current-direct current converter, a power battery, a high-voltage cabinet, a charging base, a starting battery and a battery management system, and the high-voltage cabinet is connected with the charging base, the power battery and the direct current-direct current converter through high-voltage power lines; the high-voltage cabinet is further connected with the charging base, the power battery and the direct current-direct current converter through low-voltage signal lines. The battery management system is connected with the charging base and the vehicle control unit through low-voltage signal lines. The direct current-direct current converter is connected with the starting battery through a low-voltage power line and connected with the vehicle control unit through a low-voltage signal line. A whole vehicle controller is used for awakening the direct current-direct current converter to supply power to the starting battery under the condition that the whole vehicle is charged. According to the invention, the DC-DC converter can be awakened in the charging process, so that the problem of power shortage of the starting battery in the charging process is solved.
