The present invention relates to a saddle type vehicle (100), where said vehicle (100) comprises of a fuel pump module (110) for supplying fuel from said fuel tank (109) to a fuel injector (802) through a fuel hose (304), is mounted on the fuel tank inner portion (202). Further in present invention the fuel pump module (110) is inclined towards rear mounting of fuel tank (901), includes the filter (403) being constructed and mounted to receive fuel present at the bottom of the fuel tank (109), which results to reduce the dead volume as present in the bottom level of the fuel tank (109). Also this mounting arrangement helps in shortening of the fuel hose and the wiring harness which holds significant economic benefits generated to the manufacturers.
