The invention discloses an asymmetric sleeper beam, belongs to the technical field of railway transportation equipment, and relates to the technical field of railway container flatcar sleeper beams. The asymmetric sleeper beam is of a variable-cross-section box-shaped structure formed by installing and welding high-strength weather-proof steel plates and comprises an upper cover plate, a lower cover plate, a web plate, a sealing plate and a side bearing installation base. The upper cover plate is of a symmetrical structure, and the joint of the upper cover plate and the middle beam upper cover plate is of a large arc structure. The lower cover plate is of an asymmetric structure, and the connecting portion of the lower cover plate and a flatcar middle beam is wider towards an end beam. Two parallel webs and a sealing plate fixedly connected with the two webs are fixedly arranged between the upper cover plate and the lower cover plate; a side bearing mounting seat is fixedly arranged at the lower part of the lower cover plate. The asymmetric sleeper beam only has a bearing function and is simple in structure, the width of the asymmetric sleeper beam is reduced to be close to the outer side of a side bearing, the asymmetric sleeper beam is narrower than an existing flatcar sleeper beam in the width direction, lightweight design is achieved, and the flatcar adopting the asymmetric sleeper beam can bear large longitudinal force. The asymmetric sleeper beam is used on a railway flatcar chassis with a full-length middle beam and without a side beam structure.
