The invention discloses a lifting rope and a vertical shaft lifting system. The lifting rope comprises a carbon fiber composite material core layer, a hybrid fiber composite material layer and a polymer surface layer, wherein the carbon fiber composite material core layer is formed by compounding a plurality of bundles of carbon fiber filaments and a resin matrix; the surface of the carbon fiber composite core layer is coated with the hybrid fiber composite material layer; the surface of the hybrid fiber composite material layer is coated with the polymer surface layer. According to the lifting rope and the vertical shaft lifting system, the lifting rope can meet the requirement for light weight, transport capacity and lifting efficiency of the lifting system are effectively improved, construction and maintenance cost is reduced, and the technical problems that in the prior art, a steel wire rope is adopted as the lifting rope, and therefore certain limitation exists when the lifting rope is applied to a deep well exceeding kilometers are solved.
