The invention provides a synchronization assembly for elevator doors and an elevator. A first door and a second door, which are centrally open, of the elevator synchronize opening and closing in response to movement of a belt in first and second directions. The synchronization assembly includes a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod and a force application part, wherein the first connecting rod extends from the first end to the second end and configured to pivot about a first pivot shaft between the first end and the second end, the first pivot shaft is mounted on the first door; the first end of the first connecting rod is pivotally attached to the belt, and the first connecting rod pivots in the first pivoting direction when the belt moves in the first direction; when the belt moves in the second direction, the first connecting rod pivots in the second pivoting direction; the second connecting rod pivots about a second pivot shaft mounted on the first door and configured to fix the first connecting rod when engaged with the second end of the first connecting rod; and the force application part is configured to provide a force for the first connecting rod to make the first connecting rod to tend to pivot in the first pivoting direction. The synchronous assembly and the elevator have the advantages of being simple in structure, easy to manufacture, convenient to mount and the like.
