The invention discloses a vehicle power shortage detection method. The method comprises the following steps that when it is detected that a key gear of a vehicle is a flameout gear, a state of a target object is obtained, and a state of the target object comprises a state of a vehicle door, a state of a vehicle lamp, a state of a node network or a state of a storage battery; when it is determined that the vehicle is in the power-lack state according to the state, the target object is controlled to conduct state switching so that the vehicle can exit the power-lack state. The invention further discloses a vehicle and a computer readable storage medium. The performance degradation of the vehicle caused by power shortage of the vehicle is avoided.
