The invention provides an optimization method and optimization system for the vehicle engine load point adjustment amount, and relates to the technical field of vehicles. The optimization method comprises the steps that parameters of subsystems of a vehicle are obtained, and the subsystems comprise the engine and/or a motor; a model obtains a plurality of comprehensive evaluation indexes for evaluating the performance of the power system of the vehicle based on the input parameters, the to-be-optimized working condition point of the engine and the empirical adjustment amount of a plurality of engine load points corresponding to the to-be-optimized working condition point; and the optimal adjustment amount of the engine load point is obtained according to the comprehensive evaluation indexes. The vehicle engine load point adjustment amount optimization method is a unified method, and can be suitable for different vehicle types and different hybrid power architectures to cope with different fuel consumption test cycles.
