The invention discloses a bollard safety system for protecting a mooring rope sleeving worker. The bollard safety system comprises a bollard (13) fixedly connected to the upper side face of a wharf ground (11), the bollard (13) is sleeved with a mooring rope used for fixing a ship, and the bollard (13) is a bow rope of the wharf. The bollard safety system is used for the bow rope or a stern line of the wharf, the arrangement method for the stern line and the arrangement method for the bow rope are symmetrical, it can be guaranteed that the motion trail of the broken mooring rope is not overlapped with a worker standing area on the rear side of the bollard through the position and motion combination of all the turning columns, the tension change of the mooring rope is detected through a sensor, therefore, the tension of the mooring rope on the bollard can be detected in real time, and rapid response of the device can be guaranteed.
