The invention relates to the field of vehicle active safety control, in particular to a vehicle transverse stability identification method. A vehicle transverse stability identification method comprises the following steps: S1, collecting a plurality of characteristic attribute values representing vehicle transverse stability, and obtaining a vehicle transverse attribute data set; S2, clustering the vehicle transverse attribute data set by adopting a rapid search and density peak algorithm; S3, reducing the characteristic attributes by using a domain rough set algorithm to obtain attributes having great influence on a transverse stability judgment result; S4, training an extension neural network identification algorithm; and S5, judging the transverse stability of the vehicle based on the characteristic attribute value obtained in real time. According to the vehicle transverse stability identification method provided by the invention, on the basis of not influencing the vehicle transverse stability identification effect, the acquired characteristic attributes are properly reduced, and the pressure of data acquisition and data processing is reduced.
