The invention relates to the field of automatic fastening devices, in particular to a connecting rod type automatic locking device. The device comprises a speed reducer for providing power, a driving disc, a driven disc and a switch shifting fork, an output shaft of the speed reducer is fixedly connected with the driving disc, and the driving disc is connected with the driven disc through an adjusting connecting rod assembly and drives the driven disc to rotate to drive a handle to rotate to achieve locking. The adjusting connecting rod assembly comprises a main connecting rod and an auxiliary connecting rod which are connected through a double-thread screw and a connecting rod fixing piece, the main connecting rod is connected with the driving disc, and the auxiliary connecting rod is connected with the driven disc. By adjusting transmission of the connecting rod assembly, the defects existing in original chain transmission can be overcome, compared with chain wheels, the connecting rod structure can save the machining cost by about 80%, the problems that pin shaft abrasion, pin shaft and sleeve gluing, tooth skipping, shaking, locking element loosening, violent vibration, too large noise and the like influence locking/unlocking rotation are avoided, and regular oil stain removing, lubricating grease filling and the like on a chain by maintenance personnel are avoided.
