The invention discloses a large-scale space truss structure suitable for on-orbit assembly, which comprises a polyhedral joint, a connecting piece, a truss rod and an oblique inhaul cable, a lock cylinder is in threaded connection with a joint screw rod in the polyhedral joint, and the connecting piece is in locking connection with a lock cylinder groove or a lock cylinder concave hole through a connecting piece steel ball; a connecting piece screw rod is inserted into a rod piece screw hole for threaded connection, the oblique inhaul cable fixes a truss through a spring, and the structural stability is guaranteed; by repeating the steps, the assembly of the large space truss structure with a plurality of periodic units can be completed. The structure is simple, the rigidity of the polyhedral joint connecting position is high, mounting and dismounting are convenient and fast, and the requirement for on-orbit assembling of the large space truss structure in the future is met.
