The invention discloses a passenger train high platform gap compensator which comprises a telescopic platform, a lifting platform, an infrared distance measuring device, a PLC, a camera device, a display device, an alarm device and a safety monitoring center, the alarm device is further connected with the safety monitoring center, and the display device and the alarm device are arranged in a cab. The telescopic platform, the lifting platform, the infrared distance measuring device, the PLC and the camera device are arranged in a railway passenger car sliding plug door system, the telescopic platform, the lifting platform and the infrared distance measuring device are connected with the PLC, and the infrared distance measuring device is used for measuring a gap between a platform and a car and transmitting distance measuring information to the PLC. The display device and the alarm device are respectively in wireless connection with the safety monitoring center, and the camera device is respectively connected with the display device and the alarm device. The passenger train high platform gap compensator has the characteristics of operation method and safety in use, and is suitable for popularization and application.
