The invention relates to the field of automobile manufacturing, and concretely relates to a passive monitoring system for an automobile tire. The system comprises a sensor module, a wheel detection module and a receiving and processing module, the sensor module is connected with the wheel detection module through a signal line, and the wheel detection module is wirelessly connected with the receiving and processing module through a WIFI signal. And the wheel detection module is adhered to the surface of the airtight layer of the automobile tire. The wheel detection module is provided with an energy harvester, the lower-layer flexible piezoelectric film group of an energy harvester utilizes the strong tension of the tire body and the change of the pressure in the tire when the tire moves to harvest energy, and the upper-layer flexible piezoelectric film group generates approximate flutter through the piezoelectric film when the tire rolls and a vehicle body vibrates so as to harvest energy. The whole system reasonably utilizes energy generated by tire movement and vehicle body gravity, does not need to configure batteries for sensors and signal generators, and is convenient to install, long in service life and low in cost.
