The invention discloses a heat insulation pad which comprises a release film, a first adhesive layer, a heat insulation layer, a second adhesive layer and a heat reflection layer which are sequentially stacked. The heat insulation layer comprises a plurality of polyester glass fiber blended cotton layers, the polyester glass fiber blended cotton layers are obtained by blending polyester fibers andglass fibers, and the mass percent of the polyester fibers in the polyester glass fiber blended cotton layers is 5%-50%. When the heat insulation pad is used, after the release film is torn down, theheat insulation pad is pasted to an oil tank of an automobile through the first adhesive layer, the heat reflection layer reflects part of heat emitted by a heat pipe, the heat insulation layer formsheat insulation between the heat pipe and the oil tank, and therefore heat insulation protection can be conducted on the oil tank of the automobile. According to the distance between the surface of the oil tank of the automobile and the heat pipe and the surface condition of the oil tank, the soft and easy-to-install heat insulation pad can be used for protection, and the surface temperature of the oil tank can be reduced to below 80 DEG C at the distance.
