The embodiment of the invention provides a turnout fault detection method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a rotating currentcurve of a turnout; extracting a characteristic value of the rotating current curve, wherein the characteristic values comprise conversion time, peak current, a conversion current average value, a conversion current variance, a locking current average value, a slow release region current average value and slow release region duration time; and inputting the characteristic value into a pre-established fault tree for analysis, and determining the fault type of the turnout. According to the turnout fault detection method and device, the electronic equipment and the storage medium provided by theembodiment of the invention, the fault tree is established based on the control principle of the turnout, the fault tree is branched by utilizing different characteristic values, finally, the fault detection of the turnout is realized, a large amount of fault training data is not needed, and the detection efficiency is improved.
