The invention discloses an overwater drag reduction device for an amphibious wheeled vehicle, which is used for overwater drag reduction. The device comprises a vehicle body, water guide plate assemblies, bottom sealing plate assemblies and a driving module, wherein the water guide plate assemblies are arranged on the twosides of the vehicle body, the bottom sealing plate assemblies are symmetrically arranged at the bottom of the vehicle body, the bottom sealing plate assembly is driven by the driving module to rotate so as to enable a locking mechanism of the bottom sealing plate assembly to be correspondingly connected with a locking ring of the water guide plate assembly or is correspondingly connected with the locking block at the bottom of the vehicle body. According to the invention, the vehicle tail wheel is surrounded and a certain water guide angle is formed with the driving direction, complex actingforce such as vortexes formed among water flow, wheels and a vehicle body is avoided, propelling power is not affected, and then the drag reduction function is achieved; the problem that a wheel typeamphibious vehicle is too large in underwater resistance and opposite to a modern amphibious vehicle in requirement for high maneuverability is solved.
