The invention discloses a marine engine room fan noise reduction structure and an installation method. The marine engine room draught fan noise reduction structure comprises a structural air duct arranged in a marine engine room, an air duct pipe vertically arranged on a marine engine room deck and communicated with the structural air duct, a draught fan arranged above the air duct pipe, and an air inlet channel connected between the draught fan and the air duct pipe. The air inlet channel is composed of a transition installation plate, an elastic telescopic pipe and a fireproof air brake which are sequentially connected between the draught fan and the air duct pipe, a plurality of supports are vertically arranged on the portion, located on the periphery of the air inlet channel, of the marine engine room deck in the circumferential direction, and vibration isolators are arranged between the supports and the transition installation plate. According to the invention, the influence of fan noise wind on the marine engine room can be effectively reduced.
