The invention discloses an energy-saving propeller for a large carrying ship, which comprises a forward rotating propeller body and a reverse rotating propeller body, the forward rotating propeller body is connected with a first transmission shaft, the interior of the first transmission shaft is hollow, a first bevel gear is arranged at the tail end of the first transmission shaft, and the reverserotating propeller body is connected with a second transmission shaft; the second transmission shaft penetrates through the interior of the first transmission shaft to be connected with the second bevel gear, bevel teeth of the second bevel gear are opposite to bevel teeth of the first bevel gear, the first bevel gear and the second bevel gear are both meshed with the third bevel gear, and the third bevel gear is connected with the output shaft. According to the invention, the design is ingenious, the propulsion system is improved, a good energy-saving effect is achieved, the controllabilityand flexibility of wearing are improved, and the noise and vibration reduction performance is good.
