The invention relates to an indoor unmanned aerial vehicle using a helium gas bag. The indoor unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a rack, propellers and motors, wherein the rack is a semispherical bag-shaped body, propeller protection covers are evenly distributed on the equatorial circle of the bag-shaped body, the propellers and the motors of the propellers are installed in the propeller protection covers, aerial photography devices or nacelles are installed at the bottom of the bag-shaped body, and the bag-shaped body is fixedly connected with the helium bag; a flight control system module and a battery are further installed in the pocket-shaped body, the propeller motor is electrically connected with the flight control system module, the propeller protection ring is a cylindrical ring, the axis of the propeller protection ring is perpendicular to the ground in the normal state, a base of the propeller is fixed to the inner wall of the cylindrical ring in a star shape, and a shaft hole is formed in the axis; the rack and the helium gas bag can be fixed by covering the upper periphery of the helium gas bag with a mesh enclosure and tying the mesh enclosure to an equatorial circle of the rack or adhering the mesh enclosure to the rack through an adhesive tape. The unmanned aerial vehicle can flexibly fly indoors, meets requirements of various indoor activities, and is long in endurance time and high in safety performance.
