The invention discloses a photographing method, a camera, an unmanned aerial vehicle and a storage medium, and the photographing method comprises the steps: responding to the start of a time-delay photographing function, photographing a first image, and controlling the camera to be in a dormant state; and iteratively executing the following process until an iteration cut-off condition is met: if the time when the camera is in the dormant state reaches the image shooting interval duration, waking up the camera to shoot a second image, and controlling the camera to be in the dormant state; and after the iteration is finished, generating a corresponding video according to the shot image. And the camera is in a dormant state immediately after shooting images at intervals, so that the power consumption of the camera is reduced.
