The invention belongs to the technical field of vehicle power systems, and discloses a vehicle hybrid power system and a vehicle control method, the vehicle hybrid power system comprises a first powerassembly, a second power assembly, a power battery and a control assembly, one of the first power assembly and the second power assembly is used for driving a front axle connected to a vehicle, and the other is used for driving a rear axle connected to the vehicle; the vehicle control method is used for controlling the vehicle by using the vehicle hybrid power system. According to the vehicle hybrid power system, transmissions are omitted in the first power assembly and the second power assembly, so that the cost of the system is reduced, power interruption and impact during gear shifting areavoided, and the power control of the vehicle is more stable, simpler and more efficient.
