The invention relates to a method for adjusting the speed of a vehicle as a function of an automated detection of leaving a roundabout. According to the invention, it is possible to produce a human-like driving behavior in the event of detecting the exit from a roundabout and nevertheless to dynamically regulate the speed of the vehicle. The present invention further relates to a correspondingly designed system arrangement. Furthermore, a computer program product is proposed, having control commands which implement the method or operate the proposed system arrangement.
