The invention relates to the technical field of electric vehicle charging devices, and provides a control system and a control method of rotary chassis type charging device in order to simplify the charging process of the rotary chassis type charging device and improve the charging efficiency. The control system comprises a coordinate positioning unit, a motion device driving unit and a main control unit. The coordinate positioning unit is used for monitoring the position of a charging terminal of the rotaty chassis type charging device and the position of a charging interface of a charging device, and the motion device driving unit is connected with the charging terminal and drives the charging terminal to move in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. The main control unitcontrols the motion device driving unit to drive the charging terminal to be connected with a charging interface of a charging automobile according to feedback information of the coordinate positioning unit. The position of the charging automobile is adjusted according to the positions of the charging interface and the charging terminal of the charging automobile, then the motion path of the motion device driving unit is controlled to achieve butt joint of the charging terminal and the charging interface, and the butt joint precision of the charging terminal and the charging interface can be improved.
