The invention discloses an overload-preventing lifting hook assembly of a crane. The overload-preventing lifting hook assembly comprises a first connecting rod and a first fixing plate, wherein an alarm is mounted at one corner of the top end of the first fixing plate; an alarm lamp is fixedly mounted at the other corner of the top end of the first fixing plate; when the weight of a hoisted cargoexceeds a set weight, the pressure of the cargo acting on the first fixing plate and the pulling force acting on the first connecting plate through the first connecting rod to jointly form a force forextruding a spring; as the weight of the cargo exceeds the set weight, a conductive column touches a conductive sleeve, the alarm and the alarm lamp are turned on at the same time, and meanwhile, thegravity acts as a torsion force on an overload block through a steel wire rope; and since the clamping force of a steel ball is not enough to resist the torsion force, the steel ball is extruded intothe overload block, the overload block rotates relative to a second fixing plate, and the steel wire rope on the overload block extends, so that a lifting hook cannot hoist the cargo, and the possibility that internal parts of the crane are pulled and damaged by the gravity is reduced.
