The invention discloses a ground clutter suppression and terrain estimation method, an unmanned aerial vehicle (10), a rotary radar (12) and a storage medium. According to the method, the rotary radar(12) is vertically installed, that is, the rotation axis of the rotary radar (12) is parallel or basically parallel to the heading axis of the unmanned aerial vehicle (10), and the array antenna of the rotary radar (12) rotates around the rotation axis, which means that the rotary radar (12) can carry out mechanical rotary scanning in the horizontal direction and can flexibly carry out detectionin the horizontal direction. The detection range in the horizontal direction can be improved, and the requirement of the whole machine for safety is met.
