The invention belongs to the technical field of vehicle management, and particularly discloses an intelligent parking system which comprises an intelligent operation platform, an image acquisition module, a workstation, an image recognition module, a parking space analysis module, a parking space display module, a trolley control module, a parking space vehicle detection module and a timing payment module. The image acquisition module is used for acquiring vehicle information; the image recognition module is used for recognizing vehicle information; the parking space analysis module is used for collecting and analyzing parking space information in the parking lot; the parking space display module is used for displaying parking space information in the parking lot; the trolley control module is used for controlling the moving trolley to move; the parking space vehicle detection module is used for detecting whether a vehicle is parked in a parking space; and the timing payment module isused for calculating parking time and parking fee. A vehicle owner does not need to look for the vehicle in the garage during parking and taking, parking and taking are efficient, and time is saved. The invention further discloses a vehicle storing and taking method based on the intelligent parking system, and vehicles can be automatically and efficiently stored and taken without manual intervention.
