The invention belongs to the technical field of elevator buffering, and particularly relates to a non-metal composite material and a water-resistant elevator buffer prepared from the non-metal composite material. The non-metal composite material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 40-85 parts of polyphenylene sulfide; 5-40 parts of a composition of one or more of glass fibers, glass particles, carbon fibers or aramid fibers; and 1-13 parts of a toughening agent. The elevator buffer made of the non-metal composite material has the advantages that the self weight is reduced, the installation and the transportation are greatly facilitated, and the transportation cost is also effectively reduced; the manufacturing process is simplified, and the energy consumption is reduced;the waterproof performance is good and reaches IPX7, the problem that a part of the product is damaged due to the fact that water enters the pit and is soaked in water in the industry is effectivelysolved, and the elevator can still continue to work after water enters the elevator pit or the buffer is submerged by water; and the mechanical strength is high, the tensile strength reaches 140 to 210 Mpa, the bending strength reaches 230 to 305 Mpa, the bending modulus reaches 11000 to 18000 Mpa, and the notch impact strength reaches 7.15 to 11.03 KJ/m <2>.

    本发明属于电梯缓冲技术领域,尤其涉及一种非金属复合材料及其制得的耐水电梯缓冲器。该非金属复合材料包括以下重量份数的组分:聚苯硫醚40‑85份;玻纤、玻璃颗粒、碳纤维或芳纶中的一种或多种的组合物5‑40份;增韧剂1‑13份。由该非金属复合材料制得的电梯缓冲器降低了自身的重量,大大方便安装运输,也有效降低运输费用;简化了制造工艺,降低能源消耗;防水性能好,达到IPX7,有效解决行业内由于底坑进水、泡水带来的部品损坏,在电梯底坑进水或缓冲器被水淹没后仍能继续工作;而且机械强度高,拉伸强度达到了140~210Mpa,弯曲强度达到了230~305Mpa,弯曲模量达到了11000~18000Mpa,缺口冲击强度达到了7.15~11.03KJ/m2。
