The invention relates to the related field of new materials, in particular to a wreckage recovery device adopting a novel material, which comprises a machine body, a left first transmission cavity anda right first transmission cavity which are symmetrical are formed in the end wall of the lower side of the machine body in a downward opening manner, and a recovery device for recovering wreckage isarranged in each first transmission cavity; the recovery device comprises crawler belts which are arranged in the left first transmission cavity and the right first transmission cavity in a transmission connection mode and can move in a wreckage falling area, so that the situation that the device cannot accurately receive wreckage due to calculation deviation of wreckage falling points is avoided. By adopting a piezoelectric material and a magnetorheological fluid, a magnetorheological fluid can be converted into a high-viscosity state at the moment when wreckage falls into the machine body,so that most of kinetic energy is buffered; and after the wreckage is stabilized in the machine body, the wreckage can be cooled, and subsequent workers can conveniently take out the wreckage from themachine body.
