The invention discloses a main and standby control center switching method and a rail transit comprehensive monitoring system. An operation mode is judged by a unique arbitration node in a network, and the judged operation mode is issued to a main control center, a standby control center and a station node, so that the consistency of the operation mode is ensured, and control right conflicts are avoided.
