The invention discloses an urban road intersection traffic information acquisition system based on an image recognition technology. The urban road intersection traffic information acquisition system comprises a lane image data acquisition platform and an image data analysis platform. The image data acquisition platform comprises a video acquisition module and a video decoding module, wherein the video acquisition module acquires video image data of each intersection in the morning peak and evening peak periods; and the video decoding module is used for decoding the real-time video of the videoimage data acquired by the video acquisition module so as to acquire image data of each frame. The image data analysis platform comprises a video recognition processing module and a second calculation module, wherein the video recognition processing module recognizes a vehicle object through the obtained image data of the frames and recognizes each lane of each intersection; and the second calculation module is used for calculating the average waiting time of the vehicles in each lane in each preset period. According to the urban road intersection traffic information acquisition system, the image recognition technology is combined with traffic management, traffic information of the intersections is effectively obtained, so that notification and planning are made in advance, and thereforethe purposes of optimizing traffic and guaranteeing safety are achieved.

    本发明公开了一种基于图像识别技术的城市道路交叉口交通信息获取系统,包括:车道图像数据采集平台和图像数据分析平台;图像数据采集平台包括:视频获取模块,获取各个路口在早高峰以及晚高峰时段的视频图像数据;视频解码模块,用于将视频获取模块获取的视频图像数据实时视频进行解码,以获得一帧帧的图像数据;图像数据分析平台包括:视频识别处理模块,通过获得的一帧帧的图像数据识别出车辆对象,以及识别出每个路口的各个车道;第二计算模块,用于计算出每个车道在每个预定周期内的车辆的平均等待时间。该系统通过图像识别技术结合交通管理,有效地获取路口的交通信息,以提前做好通知和规划,从而达到优化交通,保证安全的目的。
