The invention relates to the technical field of cranes, in particular to a grab bucket variable crane. The grab bucket variable crane comprises a crane grab bucket handle, wherein a pin shaft throughopening is formed in the top of the crane grab bucket handle, a foot head is arranged at the bottom end of the crane grab bucket handle, a fixed frame is arranged on the surface of the crane grab bucket handle, a driving motor is arranged in the fixed frame, a shaft body of the driving motor penetrates through the fixed frame and then is connected with a driving belt wheel, a transmission belt iswound around the surface of the driving belt wheel and penetrates through a belt penetrating opening, and the belt penetrating opening is formed in the surface of the crane grab bucket handle. The grab bucket variable crane has the advantages that a control groove is formed in the surface of the crane grab bucket handle, and an auxiliary structure for improving grab stability is arranged in the control groove in a protruding mode, so that an object is prevented from sliding off when grabbed by a plurality of crane grab bucket handles; and the control groove is located in the middle of the crane grab bucket handle, so that the contact area between the structure in the control groove and the grabbed object is sufficient.
