The invention discloses a steering column of an automatic driving vehicle. The steering column comprises a column shell and a mandrel assembly arranged in the column shell; the mandrel assembly is provided with a telescopic three-section type mandrel, namely a first-stage mandrel, a second-stage mandrel and a third-stage mandrel which are connected with one another in a sleeving mode through splines, wherein the three-stage mandrel is fixed relative to a steering device; a two-stage driving mechanism is arranged between the first-stage mandrel and the column shell and between the second-stagemandrel and the column shell, so that the column shell and the second-stage mandrel have a single moving distance while the first-stage mandrel has a double moving distance. Compared with the prior art, the steering column has the following beneficial effects that the technology similar to the structure of a steering system of an existing conventional vehicle is adopted, so that the development cost is reduced; the contraction distance of a steering wheel is increased, so that the steering wheel can contract into a cab console during automatic driving; and the operation is stable, the structure is convenient to achieve, and popularization significance is achieved.
本发明揭示了一种自动驾驶车辆转向管柱,包括管柱壳体,以及设置在所述管柱壳体内的芯轴组件,所述芯轴组件具有可伸缩的相互套接的三段式芯轴,分别为一级芯轴、二级芯轴、三级芯轴,相互之间采用花键连接,所述三级芯轴相对所述转向器件固定,所述一级芯轴和二级芯轴与所述管柱壳体之间设有两级驱动机构,使所述管柱壳体和二级芯轴具有单倍移动距离的同时,所述一级芯轴具有双倍移动距离。与现有技术相比,本发明具备以下有益效果:采用与目前常规车辆的转向系统结构类似的技术,降低开发成本;增加方向盘的收缩距离,使自动驾驶的时候方向盘能收缩至驾驶室控制台内;操作稳定,结构实现方便,具有推广的意义。
