The invention discloses a freight vehicle speed control system and method. The system comprises a vehicle-mounted controller, an engine power device management module, a rotating speed sensor, a vehicle-mounted gyroscope, a voice prompt device, and a radar sensor disposed at the front end of a vehicle, wherein the engine power device management module, the rotating speed sensor, the vehicle-mounted gyroscope, the voice prompt device and the radar sensor are connected with the vehicle-mounted controller. The running speed and the running horizontal state of a vehicle are obtained in real time,meanwhile, the vehicle speed is controlled by adjusting fuel supply of an engine in combination with obstacle information in front of the vehicle, it is ensured that the vehicle speed is kept at the optimal economic vehicle speed to the maximum extent, and the use frequency and strength of a brake device are reduced through long-distance fuel cut-off sliding; and therefore, the stability of the efficiency of a braking system is ensured, and the driving safety of the vehicle is improved. The vehicle driving state is obtained through the vehicle-mounted gyroscope, so that the current road gradient can be effectively judged, road auxiliary information is provided for a driver, a safe driving environment is provided for a truck, fatigue caused by long-term driving is effectively reduced, and driving safety is improved.

    本发明公开了一种货运车辆车速控制系统及方法,通过车载控制器以及与车载控制器连接的发动机动力装置管理模块、转速传感器、车载陀螺仪、语音提示装置和安装于车辆前端的雷达传感器,通过实时获取车辆行驶车速以及车辆行驶水平状态,同时结合车辆前方障碍物信息,通过调整发动机燃油供给控制车速,确保车速最大程度保持在最佳经济车速,并通过远距离断油滑行来降低制动装置的使用频率和强度,进而确保制动系统效能的稳定性,从而提高车辆行驶的安全性。本发明通过车载陀螺仪获取车辆行驶状态,从而能够有效判断当前道路坡度,为驾驶员提供道路辅助信息,给货车提供了一个安全的驾驶环境,有效的减少了长期驾驶带来的疲劳,提高了驾驶安全。
