The invention relates to an electrical energy store (10) for a motor vehicle (1), comprising: a plurality of modules (12) arranged in parallel, each module (12) comprising a module housing (14) and atleast one battery cell (13) accommodated in the module housing (14), and each module (12) being connectable to a structural component (7) of the motor vehicle (1); and at least one connecting element(16), which detachably connects two adjacent modules (12) to each other, and at least one connecting element (16), wherein the connecting element (16) can be elastically deformed and is provided forgenerating a connecting force (F) for pressing the connected modules (12) against each other due to the elastic deformation. The invention further relates to a motor vehicle (1) having an electrical energy store (10) and to a method for producing the electrical energy store (10) for a motor vehicle (1).
