The invention relates to the field of building construction, in particular to a lifting device for building construction. Anti-breaking mechanisms are arranged in the positions, close to connecting frames, of connecting ropes. Each connecting rope comprises a first steel wire rope and a second steel wire rope. Each anti-breaking mechanism comprises a base, wherein a cavity is formed in the base; the interior of the cavity is connected with a large rotating disc through a first rotating shaft; the large rotating disc is connected with a first small rotating disc and two second small rotating discs through second rotating shafts; rope penetrating holes are formed in the first small rotating disc and the second small rotating discs; a rope inlet is formed in the upper end of the cavity; the corresponding connecting rope is connected with the rope inlet through a connecting piece and penetrates through the rope penetrating hole of the first small rotating disc; and the first steel wire rope and the second steel wire rope of the corresponding connecting rope penetrate through the rope penetrating holes of the two second small rotating discs correspondingly. By means of the structural arrangement of the device, the connecting ropes cannot be completely broken, so that a lifting seat cannot incline, the use safety is ensured, and the practicability is high.
