The invention provides an underwater robot for transporting materials in an underwater manned laboratory. The robot comprises an overwater device and an underwater device which are connected through azero-buoyancy optical cable 2. The overwater device comprises an integrated controller 1. The underwater device comprises a keel, a propelling device, a control bin 16, a carrying bin 14, a cleaningdevice, an image collecting and transmitting device, a fastening connecting device and a flow stabilizing mechanism. According to a sealing mode, cleaning is conducted through a rotatable high-pressure water gun, attached organisms in a manned residential cabin can be cleaned more efficiently, disturbance of a counter-acting force device can be offset through a Y-shaped structure, sealing is conducted in a mode that a gear motor drives a bolt to compress a sealing ring, the structure is simple, and the method is reliable; and the working depth of the robot provided by the invention can normally work within the underwater range of 0-200m.
