At least two liquid cargo tanks are arrangedalong the longitudinal direction of the liquefied gas carrier; adjacent liquid cargo tanks are spaced to form a first isolation void cabin; and the extension length of the first isolation void cabinalong the longitudinal direction of the liquefied gas carrier is greater than the maximum longitudinal damage range. The invention further relates to the liquefied gas carrier; at least two liquid cargo tanks are arranged in the longitudinal direction; the first isolation void cabin is formed between every two adjacent liquid cargo tanks at intervals, and the extension length of each first isolation void cabin in the longitudinal direction of the liquefied gas carrier is larger than the maximum longitudinal damage range. Therefore, it can be guaranteed that two adjacent liquid cargo tanks cannot be damaged at the same time under any broadside damage working condition, the stability of the liquefied gas carrier under the broadside damage working condition can meet the standard requirement,and the number of the liquid cargo tanks can be reduced as much as possible within the limited ship length range.
