The invention relates to the technical field of brakes on automobiles, in particular to a ratchet pawl in a ratchet automatic regulator in a brake. An installing hole (1) is formed in the ratchet pawl, a fan-shaped tooth (2) is arranged on the end face of one end of the ratchet pawl, and an open hole (3) is formed in the other end of the ratchet pawl. According to the ratchet pawl in the ratchet automatic regulator, a fan-shaped rack matching with the ratchet pawl can only rotate in one direction and cannot rotate in the opposite direction, a spring hook enables fan-shaped teeth of the ratchetpawl to form slight pressure on the fan-shaped rack matching with the fan-shaped teeth all the time, and the working reliability of a brake is improved.
