The invention relates to a vehicle front collision avoidance method and system. The method comprises the steps of determining a current speed of a vehicle and the current speed of a front obstacle; determining a collision avoidance mode to be adopted by the vehicle, wherein the collision avoidance mode includes single braking collision avoidance, single steering collision avoidance or combinationof braking collision avoidance and steering collision avoidance; according to the current speed and the determined collision avoidance mode, calculating and acquiring a collision avoidance distance corresponding to the determined collision avoidance mode through a set operational formula; determining a current distance between the vehicle and the front obstacle; and judging whether the current distance reaches the collision avoidance distance or not, and if so, judging that a collision avoidance condition is established. By comprehensively considering braking and steering collision avoidance,a collision avoidance frequency can be effectively reduced, interference to a driver is decreased, and a driving habit is better met.

    本发明是关于一种交通工具前方避撞方法及系统,所述方法包括:确定本交通工具的当前速度,以及前方障碍物的当前速度;确定本交通工具即将采取的避撞方式,所述避撞方式包括单一的制动避撞、单一的转向避撞,或者制动避撞和转向避撞的结合;根据所述当前速度以及确定的所述避撞方式,通过设定的运算公式计算得到对应于确定的所述避撞方式的避撞距离;确定本交通工具与前方障碍物之间的当前距离;判断所述当前距离是否达到所述避撞距离,若判断结果为是,则判定避撞条件成立。本发明通过综合考虑制动和转向避撞,能有效减少避撞频率,降低对驾驶员的干扰,更加符合驾驶习惯。
