A fibre composite body (10), in particular a structure stiffening element, has a number of struts (12, 12a,..., 12g), which are formed by reinforcing fibres (18) which are embedded in a polymer matrix(16) and in the region of the respective strut (12, 12a,..., 12g) run substantially parallel to one another, wherein the struts (12, 12a,..., 12g) are arranged in a truss-like profiled structure (14), which is produced by winding or intertwining the reinforcing fibres (18). In addition, a description is given of a method for producing a fibre composite body (10), in particular a structure stiffening element, with a number of struts (12, 12a,..., 12g) that are arranged in a truss-like profiled structure (14).
