The methodcomprises the following steps: 1, establishing an energy management system model of a hybrid electric vehicle; 2, constructing an energy management strategy of the hybrid electric vehicle based on the energy management system model of the hybrid electric vehicle through an equivalent minimum consumption strategy of wavelet transform; and 3, managing the energy of the hybrid electric vehicle according to the energy management strategy of the hybrid electric vehicle.
