The present invention is provided with a control device (24) comprising: a calculation unit (22) that calculates the energy recovered by a heat exchanger (3) through heat exchange and the energy consumed by an intake fan (1) and a venting fan (2), and determines whether the energy recovered through heat exchange or the energy consumed by the intake fan (1) and the venting fan (2) is greater; and acontrol unit (23) that, when the calculation unit (22) determines that the energy consumed by the intake fan (1) and the venting fan (2) is greater than the energy recovered through heat exchange, controls the intake fan (1) and/or the venting fan (2) so as to reduce the energy consumed thereby. As a result, it is possible to prevent or suppress degradation in energy efficiency caused by temperature and humidity differences or in temperature differences between air from outside the vehicle interior being drawn into the vehicle interior and vehicle interior air being vented out of the vehicleinterior.
