The invention provides a novel three-dimensional sediment catcher. The catcher consists of a sediment capturing system, a measurement and control system and a supporting system, wherein the sediment capturing system consists of a vertical capturing cylinder, a first lateral capturing cylinder, a second lateral capturing cylinder, a sample tube, a transmission gear, a first rotating gear, a secondrotating gear and a third rotating gear; the measurement and control system is composed of an acoustic point type flow meter, a stepping motor, a control unit, a multi-channel turbidimeter, an upper guide rail, a motor, a ball, a transmission rod and a lower guide rail. By means of the technical scheme, the limitation that a traditional sediment catcher obtains sediments in a single direction is overcome, and three-dimensional sediment obtaining near a seabed boundary layer can be achieved. The acoustic flow meter is used for measuring the flow direction of the maximum flow velocity of ocean current, the control unit controls the motor to rotate the lateral capture cylinder to an angle opposite to the flow direction of the maximum flow velocity, and therefore the flux of sediment carried by the ocean current with the maximum flow velocity at the seabed is obtained.
本发明提供了一种新型立体式沉积物捕获器,由沉积物捕获系统、测量与控制系统、支撑系统组成,其中,沉积物捕获系统由垂直捕捉筒、第一侧向捕捉筒、第二侧向捕捉筒、样品管、传动齿轮、第一旋转齿轮、第二旋转齿轮、第三旋转齿轮组成,测量与控制系统由声学点式流速计、步进电机、控制单元、多通道浊度计、上导轨、电机、滚珠、传动杆、下导轨组成。通过本发明的技术方案,解决了传统沉积物捕获器单一方向上获取沉积物的局限性,可实现海底边界层附近处的三维立体沉积物获取。利用声学流速计测定海流最大流速的流向,控制单元控制电机将侧向捕捉筒旋转至与最大流速流向呈相反方向的角度,从而获取海底最大流速的海流携带沉积物的通量。
