The invention discloses a collapse energy absorption box which comprises an upper bent plate, a lower bent plate and a reinforcing plate. One end of the reinforcing plate is connected with the upper bent plate, and the other end is connected with the lower bent plate. The invention further discloses a front wall support of an instrument board beam. The front wall support of the instrument board beam comprises the collapse energy absorption box, and the collapse energy absorption box and a front wall fixing support are made of different materials. The strength of the front wall fixing support is higher than that of the collapse energy absorption box. It can be guaranteed that when a vehicle collides in the forward direction, the collapse energy absorption box has the collapse energy absorption effect due to the low strength, the front wall fixing support cannot deform due to the high strength, and therefore the collapse energy absorption effect of the front wall support is improved, andmeanwhile the supporting rigidity of a direction pipe column is improved.
