The present invention addresses the problem of providing an engine hood support structure for an automobile, which capable of reducing the weight of a member to be fixed. The hood support structure (1) includes: a hood (3); a shock-absorbing member (3) that supports the hood (3); a fixed member to which the cushion member (3) is fixed; and a fender (2) disposed on the outside of the member to be fixed in the vehicle width direction. The upper end part of the fender (2) is provided with a fender mounting part (22) formed by bending towards the inner side of the vehicle width direction. Reinforcing ribs (22a) extending in the vehicle width direction are formed on the fender mounting part (22) in the vicinity of the cushioning member (3).

    本发明的课题在于提供能够谋求被固定部件的轻量化的汽车的发动机罩支承构造。汽车的发动机罩支承构造(1)包括:发动机罩(3);缓冲部件(3),其支承发动机罩(3);被固定部件,其固定有缓冲部件(3);以及挡泥板(2),其配置在被固定部件的车宽方向外侧。在挡泥板(2)的上端部具有向车宽方向内侧弯折而形成的挡泥板安装部(22)。在缓冲部件(3)附近的挡泥板安装部(22)形成有沿车宽方向延伸的加强筋(22a)。
