The present invention relates to an electroplated bead wire having excellent oxidation resistance, of which the oxidation resistance and the aging adhesive strength with tire rubber are enhanced by formation of a copper- and cobalt-plated layer in an electroplating manner. The electroplated bead wire comprises the plated layer formed through electroplating, wherein the plated layer contains 40-99wt% of copper and 1-40 wt% of cobalt.
