The invention relates to a light ultrahigh motor vehicle wheel hub motor driving system, and discloses a four-connecting-rod type wheel hub motor trailing arm suspension which comprises a trailing armmounting bracket, a trailing arm, a shock absorber, a steering motor, a wheel hub motor, a brake, a steering knuckle and a connecting rod. The trailing arm is of a thin-wall structure, and a pin shaft end of the trailing arm is coupled with the mounting bracket to form a rotating pair; the hub motor is mounted on the steering knuckle through a ball stud; the steering motor is connected to the steering knuckle; the steering knuckle is connected with the trailing arm to form a revolute pair; one end of the shock absorber is connected with the trailing arm mounting bracket to form a revolute pair while the other end is connected with the trailing arm to form a revolute pair; one end of the connecting rod is connected with the trailing arm mounting bracket to form a revolute pair; and one endis connected with the steering knuckle to form a revolute pair. The trailing arm mounting bracket, the trailing arm, the steering knuckle swing arm and the connecting rod form a four-connecting-rod mechanism. The trailing arm suspension has the steering function, and the steering and braking performance of the trailing arm suspension can be improved through the four-connecting-rod parameter design. The suspension components are designed in a modular mode, interchangeability is achieved, energy consumption is low, manufacturing cost is low, and maintenance is easy.
