The invention discloses a universal wheel steering detection structure and a mobile robot. The structure comprises a shell, a universal wheel and alight intensity sensor, wherein the shell is used forfixing the universal wheel and the light intensity sensor; the universal wheel is arranged below the shell and can rotate relative to the shell, and the universal wheel is provided with a trigger identifier used for reflecting a light signal; and the light intensity sensor is arranged above the shell, and the light intensity sensor is used for detecting the rotation condition of the universal wheel according to a feedback signal of the trigger identifier. The robot detects the rotating state of the universal wheel through an external simple sensor and a trigger identifier, the structure is simple, and the production cost is low; whether the universal wheels rotate or not can be detected through simple data, the operation burden of the robot is not increased, and the strain capacity of therobot is improved.

    本发明公开了一种万向轮的转向检测结构以及移动机器人,包括:壳体,该壳体用于固定万向轮和光强度传感器;万向轮,该万向轮设置在壳体的下方且可相对于壳体进行自转,所述万向轮上设有用于反射光信号的触发标识;光强度传感器,该光强度传感器设置在壳体上方,所述光强度传感器用于根据触发标识的反馈信号来检测万向轮的转动情况。机器人通过外设简单的传感器和触发标识来检测万向轮的转动状态,结构简单,生产成本低;通过简单的数据就可以检测出万向轮是否发生转动,不增加机器人的运算负担,提高机器人的应变能力。
