The invention relates to the field of ocean observation, and discloses an unmanned ship for geomagnetic diurnal variation observation in deep and far seas. The ship comprises a ship body provided witha power device, navigation equipment which is arranged on the ship body and is configured to collect and transmit the current position and the current navigation data of the ship body; a control equipment assembly which is arranged on the ship body, wherein the transmission end of the control equipment assembly is connected with the output end of the navigation equipment, and the current positionof the ship body is compared with a preset position; and when the current position deviates from the preset position, the control equipment assembly controls the power device to start and drive the ship body to sail to the preset position based on the current navigation data. The current position and the current navigation data are obtained through the navigation equipment, and the control equipment assembly judges based on the current position and controls the power device to drive the unmanned ship to navigate to the preset position based on the current navigation data, thereby guaranteeingthat the unmanned ship is located at the preset position for observation, solving the problem that a drifted observation range cannot return, and achieving the geomagnetic diurnal variation observation of deep and far sea waters.
